SUN DRENCHED {iced tea}
A dark, smooth Indian black tea with hints of sweet mint and citrus. Like a bright ray of sunshine and a cool breeze on a warm summer’s day. Southern sweet tea at its best!
Health notes: The premium black tea offers top quality antioxidant support because of its growing region and knowledgeable harvesting and processing techniques. It also brings energy, focus, and bowel health.
The lemon verbena is a known nervous system tonic to assure the energy from the black tea stays smooth and enjoyable while it also offers digestive support.
Orange peel is an uplifting burst of flavor and also supports healthy digestion.
Spearmint cools this brew for an amazing finish along with combining in more digestive support, blood sugar support, and enhanced focus.
ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS:
Assam black tea, Lemon Verbena, Spearmint + Dried Oranges
{ Moderately Caffeinated }
Iced Tea Brewing Directions per quart:
Steep 2 tea bags (or 3.5 Tb loose tea blend in a large steeping bag) in 1/2 quart of 190º water for 4 minutes. Cover while steeping. Remove tea bags after 4 minutes. Add 1 – 2 Tb sugar (or to taste). Stir. Add 1/2 quart cold water. Stir and pour over ice in glasses to enjoy. Can refrigerate up to 4 days to enjoy later :) Garnish ideas: Fresh orange or lemon wedge and fresh mint sprigs.
Iced Tea brewing Directions per 16oz glass:
Steep 1 tea bag or 1.5 Tb loose tea blend in approximately 4oz 190º water for 4 minutes. Cover while steeping. Remove tea leaves, add ½Tb sugar (to taste), stir, fill with 8oz cold water and pour over 16oz glass filled with ice. Should fill a 16oz glass, if not, add more water and enjoy! Can garnish with lemon or mint sprigs.
Our Packaging
Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious. The kraft bags holding our teas are recycled and compostable. The inner lining is plant based and the outer layer is FDA approved recycled natural Kraft. Tin tie closures need to be removed prior to sending it to compost heap.
Our unbleached tea bags are sealed with a food grade staple and no chemical sealant. Each is compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once staple is removed. They love to return to the earth.
