When do I think of Chamomile? When someone needs an herbal hug. Its a lovely herb for children and adults. Like a comforting hug from a friend, chamomile offers ease. We call upon Chamomile in our blends because of its power as an anti inflammatory, antispasmodic, carminative, and mildly calming action. I also find is so helpful with redness or irritation that needs a gentle touch. When there are issues with the eye and I want a soothing eye wash, when I have a rash and want a soothing wash or compress… basically, when I need something soothed.
